About Unite CYWNFP
- Tuesday 29 July 2025
Unite’s Community, Youth and Not for Profit sector comprises the following areas:
- Community, Youth and Playworkers: Youth workers, community workers, playworkers, and allied fields need a strong professional and trade union voice.
- JNC: The Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) for Youth and Community Workers sets the national framework used to grade and pay youth work jobs and negotiates pay and agrees terms and conditions of service.
- NUBSLI: The National Union of British Sign Language Interpreters (NUBSLI) is a branch of Unite representing sign language interpreters and translators across the UK. The majority of NUBSLI members are self-employed freelancers, but NUBSLI also represents members who are employed.
- Housing workers: Unite LE1111 branch represents housing workers nationally and links with other Unite branches representing members in our sector. Unite believes that housing is a human right, but ordinary people are being forced out of their communities by high prices and speculation.
- Faith workers: The Faith Workers' branch of Unite is a national branch and is open to all employees and office holders of any faith organisation.
