This is the UMWEP Celebration Day, held on 13 December 2026, the day brought together tutors, students, families, friends, and the wider community to celebrate learning, commitment, and achievement.

It was a proud moment to recognise the hard work and progress made by our students throughout the year, many of whom are migrant workers who have worked with determination to improve their English, build skills, and grow in confidence.

The day was also an opportunity to thank our tutors and volunteers for giving their time and dedication to support learners and help them integrate through education.

Alongside the celebration, we held an art workshop, and the room was filled with artwork created over the course of 2025, reflecting creativity and shared learning. Music and performance played an important role in the day, with contributions from the choir, a Latin American Group and Colombian music and dance, and a Moroccan band, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.

The photos from the celebration reflect not just one event, but a whole year of learning, creativity, and community building. We look back on 2025 with pride and look forward to continuing this journey together in the year ahead.
