Strike action was scheduled to take place from 14 to 21 September

Unite can confirm that seven days of strike action by approximately 120 workers employed by TechnipFMC is suspended.

The Dunfermline based workers will now vote on an enhanced pay offer. The strike action was scheduled to take place from 14 September to 21 September.

Unite industrial officer Graeme Smith said: “Following an improved offer from TechnipFMC, Unite has suspended strikes in order to ballot the workers on the proposed deal.”

TechnipFMC designs and manufactures wellheads and specialist subsea equipment for the oil and gas industry.
